How it works

Pace of play,
from tee sheet to finish.

GolfTimr replaces stopwatches and clipboards with one simple flow. Upload the day, share the QR codes, and let golfers log their own times while the pro shop watches the board.

A quick walkthrough: upload a tee sheet, watch the live pace board, and log checkpoints.

Step 01

Set up your club

Create your club profile, add your course targets (front nine, back nine and total round time), and choose how you want to run the day. It takes a couple of minutes.

No hardware needed — just a browser.

1

Step 02

Upload the tee sheet

Drop in the day's tee sheet as a CSV or paste it in. GolfTimr reads the tee times and player names, then builds the live board automatically.

Every clock starts at the tee time — no stopwatches.

2

Step 03

Share the checkpoint QR codes

Each club gets unique QR codes for the turn checkpoint (after 9 holes) and the finish checkpoint (after 18). Print them, display them, or share the link. QR codes make it effortless for golfers, but the day still runs end-to-end if the pro shop marks times manually.

Golfers scan, tap their tee time, and tap 'Done' — or the pro shop logs it for them.

3

Step 04

Watch the live pace board

The pro shop dashboard shows every group: on pace, drifting, or finished. Colours make it obvious where the course is slowing down before a backup forms.

See the whole course at a glance.

4

Step 05

Review and improve

After the round, export the data or look back at historical rounds. Spot patterns — which holes lose time, which starts back up — and plan the next event with real numbers.

Build a pace-of-play picture over time.

What you need to get started

GolfTimr is designed to run with whatever you already have in the pro shop.

A tee sheet

CSV, Excel export, or pasted list with tee times and player names.

Golfers' own phones

They scan the QR code with the camera they already have. No app install required and no hardware for the club to buy.

Someone to start the day

Upload the tee sheet and open the live board — it takes a couple of minutes, then the system runs itself.

Try it free for three months

Upload a real tee sheet, run a competition, and see how much smoother the day feels — no card required.
